Regional Meeting Spotlight: Blessing Company
Regional meetings, a Nexstar Network tradition, are one of the ways Nexstar members gather to support each other in their local market. These curated in-person events offer members an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day rigor of running their businesses and gather to support each other, learn, share, and have fun.
One stellar example of a recent Nexstar “regional” comes to life in this spotlight video that took place at Blessing Company Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical in Michigan
Completely free to attend, each Nexstar regional event is hosted by an area member – in this case, owners Lou Blessing and Sarah Thompson. Nexstar members since 1995, Blessing Company has recently been working hard to complete the finishing touches on their new office building. “This is our second Regional Meeting,” Sarah said. “We love hosting! We’ve been going to different Michigan regionals, too, and we always learn so much.”
The original idea for regional meetings took shape organically from members who wanted to expand on Nexstar’s goal of growth through education and sharing, but on a small group level. Because who better to discuss your business with than other local members who understand and share some of the same challenges?

“I always enjoy having Nexstar coaches and members here,” Sarah said. “I always learn something when I’m with Nexstar members, whether it’s something small, like what TikTok could be good for, or something big, like learning how to retain employees better.”
